Dr. Shanya graduated from James Cook University in 2022. Since then she has worked in a variety of equine practices on the Gold Coast & Byron Bay region and most recently with Dr. Oliver at EVDS. She has performed further post-graduate training through EVDS in equine dentistry as she has a passion for equine dental car

Dr. Shanya graduated from James Cook University in 2022. Since then she has worked in a variety of equine practices on the Gold Coast & Byron Bay region and most recently with Dr. Oliver at EVDS. She has performed further post-graduate training through EVDS in equine dentistry as she has a passion for equine dental care and understands how important the horse's mouth is for their overall health and well being. She also loves all aspects of equine general practice medicine. When not hard at work you will find her riding her horses at the beach with her wife, Carla, or hard at work on the farm with her two border collies never far behind.

Carla is a dietitian by trade, however, she has come on board to help manage the practice. She comes with years of experience working in the allied health field and is enjoying the variety that her new role provides. You may see her out and about on the road with Dr. Shanya nursing or speak to her on the phone. In

In her spare time she enjoys days at the beach, scuba diving and spending quality time on the farm with her horses, cows, chickens, dogs & cats.
